Welcome!
The ACT Rock 'n' Roll Club is one of the longest running rock 'n' roll clubs in Australia. It has been operating in the Canberra region for 25 years. It started off at the Ainslie Football Club which had a venue called "Arnolds". The Club originated from a 50's music appreciation group of Canberra people which rapidly expanded into a fun and inclusive, regular dance venue for like minded enthusiasts. The Club is actively involved in promoting rock 'n' roll in all its forms in the ACT.
The Club provides a variety of dance lessons during the year ranging from the Beginner lessons in Rockabilly and 4 Step. These classes are held on Sunday afternoons. Intermediate and Advanced classes run for three weeks and are held at various times throughout the year according to demand.
Social dances are held after the lessons on Sunday afternoons. Please check the Socials / Lessons page to see what is happening.
The current committee would like to see everyone come out on Sunday afternoons, let their hair down, enjoy each other's company and just have some fun.
Regards,
The Committee
